The holiness revival movement worldwide has expelled Oyiza, a newly married woman for allegedly refusing to consummate her marriage with her husband.
The couple got married in September 2025 after completing their traditional rites in Kogi State and a court wedding in Ibadan, Oyo State.
However, the union reportedly ran into trouble shortly after the ceremony as the bride allegedly resisted her husband’s attempts at intimacy, insisting she did not love him.
In a video posted on the church’s YouTube channel, Paul Rika, the International Director announced her excommunication after months of counselling and mediation failed to resolve the crisis.
In his words, “so, we have delivered her to Satan. We have expelled, excommunicated her.
“After the wedding, she started complaining again that she no longer had feelings for me, she often told him, “No love, no joy, no peace.”
Isaac claimed that his wife had expressed doubts about the marriage before the wedding but later agreed to proceed after prayers and counselling. He said the situation worsened after the ceremony.
He further alleged that she accused him of attempted rape whenever he sought intimacy.
Meanwhile, mental health professionals have urged caution, noting that factors such as trauma, forced marriage, or medical conditions could influence such behaviour.
They stressed the need to hear the woman’s side before drawing conclusions.
