Sunday Oliseh, former Super Eagles midfielder and head coach, has lost Uche Levi Oliseh, his brother to an illness.

Oliseh announced the death of his brother on Sunday in a post the former Ajax Amsterdam of Holland midfielder shared on his official X account.

“Sadly, I lost my brother, Uche Levi Oliseh on Thursday after a brief illness with malaria fever,” the retired Nigerian international wrote.

“It hurts so bad, like I have never felt before. I have over a million things that I would wanna talk, laugh and do with Uche but sadly, I cannot anymore. Damn, Death is a real bitc..,” Oliseh lamented.

Oliseh, during his playing days won a lot of trophies for both club and country, including the 1994 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) with the Super Eagles in Tunisia.

The 49-year-old also played at two World Cup tournaments, USA in 1994 and France in 1998 while he represented top European clubs such as Ajax, Juventus of Italy and Borussia Dortmund in Germany.
