Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) says the naira redesign policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria is intended to undermine the 2023 elections.
Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo State, claimed that the CBN deceived President Muhammadu Buhari about the policy.
He made this assertion while speaking in an interview on Sunday on Channels Television’s live programme, The Verdict.
He described the naira redesign policy as senseless.
He said, “CBN’s naira redesign policy is senseless… CBN deceived Buhari and the intention behind it was to stop the elections.”
