Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, the head coach has named his 23-man squad for the friendly match with Portugal.

The list was unveiled in a statement released by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Friday.

The star-studded list included regulars like Ademola Lookman, William Troost-Ekong, Wilfred Ndidi, Victor Osimhen, and Moses Simon, while Ahmed Musa, the team’s captain, was obviously missing.

The Nigerian gaffer also handed Bruno Onyemaechi and Bright Osayi Samuel their first call-up to the Super Eagles while Tyrone Ebuehi and Paul Onuach return to the national team.

The match will be played at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, Lisbon on November 17, by 7:45 pm (Nigerian time).

Portugal will use the friendly match as a warm-up ahead of the World Cup.

The Fernando Santos’ team is in group H alongside Uruguay, Ghana, and South Korea.
