JUST IN: Portugal thrash Super Eagles 4-0 in Lisbon

Portugal have defeated the Super Eagles of Nigeria 4-0 in an international friendly match in Lisbon. 

The European side scored two goals in each half to hand a helpless Nigerian side the heavy defeat on Thursday.

It would be Portugal’s last warm up match before heading to Qatar for the World Cup.

The largely uninspiring Super Eagles capped off their poor showing with a penalty miss, in what is their umpteenth defeat since the appointment of Jose Peseiro as coach.
