Abba Yusuf, governor of Kano State, has forwarded a list of 19 nominees expected to pilot the affairs of the administration with him as commissioners.
The Speaker of the State Assembly, Yusuf Falgore, made the disclosure on Tuesday at the plenary while reading the governor’s request letter.
The former President of the Nigeria Guild of Editors, Baba Halilu Dantiye, is among the 19 nominees forwarded by the governor.
Among the nominees forwarded to the Assembly include Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam, Hon. Umar Doguwa, Hon. Ali Haruna Makoda and Hon. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, Hon. Danjuma Mahmoud, Hon. Musa Shanono, Hon. Abbas Sani Abbas, Haj. Aisha Saji,
Others are Haj. Ladidi Garko, Dr. Marwan Ahmad, Engr. Muhd Diggol, Hon. Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, and Dr. Yusuf Kofar Mata, Hon. Hamza Safiyanu, Hon. Tajo Usman Zaura, Sheikh Tijjani Auwal, Hon. Nasiru Sule Garo; Hon. Haruna Isa Dederi; and Hon. Baba Halilu Dantiye.
The nominees were urged to appear before the Assembly tomorrow (Wednesday) for screening by 10 a.m.
