A driver, Olunowo Olumide Ogunyemi, has reportedly absconded with a Lexus GX460 belonging to his employer, just three weeks into his job.
The vehicle, with registration number KJA 123 CX, was taken by Ogunyemi, 48, while his employer briefly stopped to visit a friend in the Lekki area of Lagos last week.
The driver, originally from Odogbolu in Ogun State, has been on the run since the incident.
According to an SOS message released by the vehicle owner, Ogunyemi was hired as a driver last month. His last known address is 6, Engineer Olaitan Street, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos.
The owner urged the public to be on the lookout for Ogunyemi, asking anyone who encounters him to inform the nearest police station.
“We are asking that this information be shared widely across all platforms, groups, and social media to prevent others from falling victim to the same situation,” the owner said.
The vehicle owner also requested that anyone with credible information on Ogunyemi’s whereabouts contact the nearest police division.
