Hoodlums said to Okada riders on Wednesday attacked traders at Dei Dei, a community in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The incident led to the death of at least five persons, while houses and other properties were set ablaze.
Reports said an accident involving a bike man led to the break down of law and order in the community.
A twitter user said the incident involved Okada riders who are mostly northerners and traders of mostly Igbo origin.
