President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Birnin Kebbi, the capital of Kebbi State, where he commissioned the new state secretariat.
The president also inaugurated an ultra-modern motor park in the state capital.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected at the fishing arena shortly to officially flag off the international fishing festival.
High-profile guests at the event include governors from Sokoto State and other dignitaries accompanying the president to the arena.
Meanwhile, the fishing arena is filled with spectators and foreign journalists from China, India and other West African countries.
The visit forms part of activities lined up for the Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival holding in Kebbi State.
