The Adamawa State Police Command has declared a 14-year-old girl identified as Fatima Abubakar missing.

SP Suleiman Nguroje, the spokesman of the Adamawa State Police Command in a statement said Fatima went missing on Friday.

“Fatima Abubakar was reported missing after she left her home at about 9:00 a.m. on Friday, 18th July 2025, and has not been seen since,” Nguroje wrote in a missing person alert.

According to Nguroje, Fatima’s known residential address is No. 19, State Low Cost, Yola South Local Government Area (LGA), Adamawa State.

Members of the public with any useful information regarding her whereabouts have been kindly urged to assist in locating her.

“If seen or found, please contact the
Office of the Police Public Relations Officer, Adamawa State Police Command, Mr. Abubakar Wakili Abba on 08039556793,” the statement read.

The Adamawa State Police Command has also asked for the cooperation of the public in helping to trace Fatima, saying it would be highly appreciated.
