Court declines hearing lawyer’s case over 'babalawo' attire

A lawyer has reportedly attended proceedings at the Supreme Court dressed in traditional worshippers attire following the apex court’s ruling allowing the use of hijab in schools.

Recall that the Supreme Court had last week, ruled that Nigerians can express their way of worship use of hijab in schools.

The judgment was delivered on June 17, in a suit filed by the government of Lagos State.

Speaking withe journalists, he said, “By the Supreme Court judgement, we have been given license to dress in our religious attires.”
