Musiliu Akinsanya, alias MC Oluomo, Chairman of the Lagos State Parks Management Committee, has issued warning to Igbo voters in Lagos state ahead of the March 18 governorship and State Assembly elections.

In a recent party meeting themed ‘Lagos Rising,’ MC Oluomo, an APC chieftain, warned Igbo voters in the state to sit in their houses on election day if they were not going to vote for the ruling party.

Speaking in Yoruba, the APC chieftain stated that they have begged the Igbo, and if they continue to vote for their candidate, they will face consequences.

“Iya Chukwudi, if you do want to vote for us, abeg sit down for home ooo, we have begged you people, don’t come out on election day,” he said.

Recall that Peter Obi, the LP presidential flagbearer, won the presidential election in Lagos State on Saturday, February 25, defeating Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the candidate of the ruling APC.

Obi received 582,454 votes in Lagos, defeating Tinubu who received 572,606 votes and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who received 75,750 votes.

Following Obi’s performance in Lagos during the presidential elections, his supporters have promised to do the same for Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the governorship candidate of LP.
