Rabiu Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano state, is set to formally join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Monday.
The move was disclosed by the Kwankwasiyya movement, which said the ceremony would take place in Kano.
Kwankwaso is expected to be joined by several NNPP members.
