Keystone Bank Limited has provided delivery kits to 150 expectant mothers in Jigawa State as part of its Employee Volunteering Scheme (EVS) Phase 2 Project.

This newspaper gathers that the initiative aims to improve maternal health outcomes, promote safer childbirth, and increase access to essential maternal care supplies.

According to Izore Lami Bamawo, group head of marketing and corporate communications,the programme reflects the bank’s commitment to social impact and community wellbeing.

Nasiru Ibrahim, regional head Northwest, said the effort complements Governor Umar Namadi’s Safemotherhood Initiative, supporting safer deliveries and healthier families.

Hajiya Hadizat Abdulwahab, Jigawa State commissioner for women affairs, praised Keystone Bank for the intervention, urging other corporate organisations to replicate such initiatives.

She called on beneficiaries to use the kits responsibly and promote early antenatal care and hospital deliveries within their communities.

Through the EVS, Keystone Bank continues to implement impactful projects in health, education, empowerment, and environmental sectors, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable development and inclusive social impact across Nigeria.
