Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, better known by his stage name Trinityguy, has been ordered to be detained in prison by a magistrate court in the capital city of Oyo State, Ibadan, following allegations that he sexualized a youngster in one of his popular skit videos.

Remember how the Nigerian Police, through Force Public Relations Officer Olumuyiwa Adejobi, demanded Trinityguy’s arrest after a video of his risky stunts went viral?

A statement by the Oyo State Police Command on Friday disclosed that the skit maker and parent of the little girl in the viral video were quizzed by the Command and would appear in court Monday (today).

Appearing before the Magistrate, Olúdáre Adebayo, counsel to the defendant who was brought before the magistrate by the Police, urged the court to grant his client bail.

Magistrate PO Adetuyibi, while denying the bail application, stated that the allegation against the Skit maker is currently receiving the attention of the state Ministry of Justice.

The court also ordered that the parents of the little girl in the video be remanded alongside Trinityguy till the next sitting.
