Amir Nasirzadeh, Iran’s defence minister and Gen. Mohammad Pakpour, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander have reportedly been killed in Israeli airstrikes on Iran.

According to sources familiar with the development, the two senior Iranian military officials were among top commanders targeted during the strikes carried out on Saturday.

Israeli officials earlier assessed that Pakpour, Nasirzadeh and Iran’s intelligence chief were likely killed in the attacks, although full details of the operation remain unclear.

Reports indicate that several high-ranking Iranian political and military figures were targeted in the strikes, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian, but the outcome of those attacks has not been confirmed.
