Senegal have booked their place in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final after beating Egypt 1–0 in Tangier.
Sadio Mane struck in the 78th minute to secure the victory for Senegal over Egypt in their semi-final played on Wednesday.
The former champions controlled possession for long spells against a disciplined Egyptian side that adopted a largely cautious approach.
The win sends Senegal into Sunday’s final, where they will meet either Morocco or Nigeria.
