The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections.

This was contained in an official document signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.

The timetable outlines key activities including the screening of aspirants, appeals, and primary elections, as well as guidelines for the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms.

The APC reassured members, stakeholders, and Nigerians of its commitment to conducting credible and transparent primaries aimed at strengthening internal democracy and consolidating its progressive ideals.

According to the schedule, the sale of forms will commence on Saturday, April 25, and end on May 2, while the deadline for submission of completed forms and required documents is May 4, 2026.

The party fixed its presidential primary election for May 15 and 16. Other primaries are scheduled as follows: House of Representatives on May 18, Senate on May 20, State Houses of Assembly on May 21, and governorship on May 23, 2026.

The timetable also provides dates for appeals arising from the primaries. Presidential appeals will be heard on May 18, followed by House of Representatives on May 20, Senate on May 21, State Houses of Assembly on May 23, and governorship on May 25, 2026.

In terms of costs, the party pegged the expression of interest form for presidential aspirants at N30 million, while the nomination form is priced at N70 million. Governorship aspirants are to pay N10 million for expression of interest and N40 million for nomination forms.

For senatorial seats, the expression of interest form costs N3 million and the nomination form N17 million. House of Representatives aspirants will pay N1 million and N9 million respectively, while State House of Assembly aspirants will pay N1 million for expression of interest and N5 million for nomination forms.

The party added that female aspirants, youths, and persons with disabilities will only pay for the expression of interest forms and 50 percent of the prescribed nomination fees for their respective offices.
