The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared 36-year-old Samuel Okorie Chukwuemeka wanted in connection with an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence.
In a public notice issued on Wednesday, the commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, said Chukwuemeka is being sought as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected fraudulent activities.
“The public is hereby notified that Samuel Okorie Chukwuemeka, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence,” the notice stated.
The anti-graft agency disclosed that Chukwuemeka is an indigene of Ebonyi State. His last known address was given as opposite the NNPC Mega Station, Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State.
The EFCC called on members of the public with useful information about his whereabouts to contact any of its offices nationwide, including those in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt and Abuja.
The commission also advised that information could be reported to the nearest police station or other security agencies.
