On the 4th of April 2017, The Indigenous People Of Biafra IPOB Nnewi chapter Embercked on a peaceful protests for the immediate and unconditional release of their leader Nnamdi Kanu who was kidnapped and detained by the Nigeria secret agents DSS on the 14th of October 2017.

 

Two courts of justice sitting in Abuja granted him bail unconditionally, but due to corruption in Nigeria he was denied bail by the order of Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari who openly vowed not to release Nnamdi Kanu. Nnamdi knau is a prisoner of conscience who is fighting for the total freedom of his people (Biafrans) from the Nigeria state.

His continues detention is a breach to UN charter enshrined Law to self determination.
