Abdul Samad Rabiu, the founder and executive chairman of BUA Group, alongside the Group Executive Director, Kabiru Rabiu, on Monday received a high-powered delegation of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) at the company’s headquarters in Lagos.

The delegation also included several prominent northern statesmen: Sen. Ibrahim M. Ida, PhD (Wazirin Katsina); Mohammed Mahmud; Amb. Ibrahim Mai-Sule (Turakin Bade, Vice Chairman, BOT); Malam Murtala Aliyu (Mutawallen Gombe, Secretary General); Alh. Ibrahim S. Bamalli (Treasurer); Hon. (Arc) Ibrahim Bunu (former FCT Minister); Mahmud Yayale Ahmed (CFR); Amb. Baba Ahmed Jidda; Bukar Zarma; Nasir Isa Abubakar; and Nasir H. Danu (Sardaunan Dutse).

During the courtesy visit, Alhaji Dalhatu presented an overview of the Forum’s activities from inception to date and highlighted the ACF’s planned 25th anniversary celebrations.

The forum formally invited Abdul Samad Rabiu to serve as Chairman of the anniversary fundraising event, describing him as a distinguished northern statesman whose contributions and leadership continue to inspire development across the region.

In his response, Rabiu expressed deep appreciation for the honour and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Forum’s initiatives. He commended the ACF for its confidence in him and acknowledged its recognition of his longstanding philanthropic efforts across northern Nigeria.

He pledged continued collaboration with the Forum in its mission to foster peace, unity, and sustainable development throughout the region.
