The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says 1,228,648 Nigerians have completed registration under Phase II of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise as of February 13, 2026.
In its week six update shared on its official X platform on Thursday, the commission disclosed that 673,124 applicants concluded the process through online pre-registration, while 555,524 finalised their registration physically at designated centres nationwide.
INEC’s breakdown shows that women accounted for 696,891 of the new registrants, representing 57 per cent, while 531,757 men, or 43 per cent, were registered within the same period.
Youth participation remains dominant, with 848,066 registrants about 69.02 per cent falling within the 18 to 34 age bracket.
The commission also recorded 19,414 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the ongoing exercise.
INEC urged eligible Nigerians yet to register to take advantage of both the online pre-registration portal and physical centres ahead of the deadline.
