[BREAKING] COVID-19: Nigerian govt to ban inter-state movement

The federal government has announced plans to ban inter-state travel and close down all motor parks as part of measures to curtail the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, THE WITNESS reports.

Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, who disclosed the plans Thursday afternoon said President Muhammadu Buhari was never on ventilator, contrary to speculation making the rounds.

The minister was emphatic that “Mr. President is well and fully in charge of the country.

”Some have alleged that the President is coughing, it is fake news.
