Donald Duke, former governor of Cross River State, has slammed Atiku Abubakar, Nigeria’s former vice president and presidential hopeful on the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), asking him to stop running for president because it’s becoming ridiculous.

Duke who spoke in a trending video, noted Atiku, who was candidate of the PDP in 2019, has been running for president since 1992 when he ran against MKO Abiola.

According to former governor, he is not God and God hasn’t spoken to him, but sometimes it’s easy to know when God doesn’t want you to occupy certain positions.

He asked Atiku to withdraw from the race and give other people a chance, while insisting that in the interest of equity, power should return to the South in 2023.
