Chemstar Manufacturing company boss, Apostle Aderemi Emmanuel Awode, owner of Finecoat and Shield Paints, had his 55th birthday soiree last weekend, it was indeed an impressive gathering as friends, family and associate from all walks of life teemed to celebrate a manufacturing giant, a business tycoon, philanthropist par excellence and an icon of hope to many homes.
The most cherished asset of Remi Awode is not his head full of knowledge but his heart full of love, ears open to listen, and hands willing to help, reason many of his staff, friends and associates eulogized his good virtues at the birthday shindig. Many of those that graced the event took the pleasant achiever on memory lane on how he touched their lives in several ways; he’s no doubt, a good man who brings out the good in other people.
For those that feel that being kind hearted to people got them nothing but rejection and hurt, the story of Aderemi Awode is something the young ones should emulate, despite being hurt a few times, he has never allowed such instances to redefine who he truly is. He’s a lover of people whose generosity amazingly knows no colour, creed or religion. Unarguably, this act is one of the factors that led to the success story of Finecoat Paint today.
He’s a strong believer of an aphorism that, “if you are a thoughtful person who does nice things, don’t stop just because the people failed to see the goodness inside you, it’s their ejection or lack of response that is the problem, not yours. Don’t change yourself, they need to change, they need to work on themselves, keep being the wonderful you”.
The strong unapologetic honest and God fearing Awode is one of most kind-hearted people in the world, reason he doled out several millions to empower some members of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement, Divine Blessing Cathedral located at Alagbado area of Lagos where he’s a founding member. Apostle Awode does not only see it as his duty to give out of his abundance, he shares even his tank indicates reserve.
At 55, according to him, is to live his life full of praises of God who has immensely blessed and favoured him. The event was graced by Mr. Toyin Haastrup, Engr. Tunde Akintona, Mr & Mrs. Sam Ajagu, Members of the Galilee Land Development Committee of the C$S Movement Church led by Dr. Bisi Adedire, Mrs. Odeyinka, Founder Fluorescent Group of Schools, Alh. Soladoye, PRO, The Polytechnic Ibadan, Mr. & Mrs. Yemi Sonde, Sp. Apostle John Oyeku, HRH, Oba Oluwalambe Taiwo J.P., The Olojokoro of Ojokoro Land, Pastor Dayo Paseda, Deputy Managing Director, Chemstar Paints Industry (Nig.) Primate Elijah Ayodele 2018 already fulfilled prophecies
There are prophets and there prophesies.
However, one man of God who has been consistent with his prophesies is Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church.
Over the years, the man of God has accurately prophesied about happening both within and outside Nigeria.
Many would remember his prophesies about the demise of Oba Adeyinka Oyekan, death of General Sanni Abacha and the return of Olusegun Obasanjo as President.
Early this year, the 2018/2019 edition of his annual publication “Warning To The Nations”, an avenue through which the man of God unveils his prophesies was released.
A media presentation followed in July of the same year, as Primate Ayodele unveiled to the world the book described as “a collection of divine signals authorised through divine prompting by the servant of the most high God”.
Since it’s unveiling, prophesies therein have come to pass. Chief of them includes those in the financial, political, law enforcement and manufacturing sectors.
Internationally, prophesies involving Facebook, the Republic of Benin and several others have also come to pass.
In the 2018/ 2019 edition of “Warnings To The Nation”, Primate Ayodele prophesied about some financial institutions such as Skye Bank Plc, Diamond Bank, Keystone Bank, Heritage Bank and Wema Bank to mention a few. Citing that the financial institutions would face a challenge or a change in management, indeed the prophesies have come to pass.
Only recently, Skye Bank which the man of God said would experience some challenges that can affect its operations lost its license of operation, as it was withdrawn by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The bank has since changed to Polaris Bank. On its part, Wema Bank saw the emergence of a new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) in person of Ademola Adebisi, just as it had been prophesied.
Diamond Bank, the man of God prophesied that the financial institution needed prayer to avoid having problems with the CBN. Diamond Bank was among four financial institutions recently sanctioned by the apex bank for an unapproved transfer of funds belonging to telecommunication MTN.
In the case of Heritage Bank, “Warnings To The Nations” was quoted as saying that “the bank will have problems with some of its staffs”. This also came to pass, as the exit of Mary Akpobome, an Executive Director of the financial institution came with the reorganisation of the management of the financial institution. Several other prophesies including the sack of former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun have also come to pass.
In the manufacturing industry, several prophesies have also come to pass. Primate Ayodele foresaw the problem presently bedeviling Wale Tinubu’s firm Oando and Innoson Motors which he urged to pray against running into trouble and court matters. The suit between the auto manufacturing company and financial institution Guaranty Trust Bank (Gtb) is still in court. In page 259 of “Warning To The Nations”, the book spoke of troubles for telecommunication company MTN Nigeria. MTN was recently hammered by the CBN for what it considered illegal repatriation of funds to South Africa.
Other prophesies which have come to pass includes the reorganisation of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), the travails of the Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, a loss in profit by social media platform Facebook, attacks on camps of Internally Displaced People (IDP), increase in the country’s external debt among others.
BON commiserates with Baba Sala’s Family, names comedy category of Award after him
Following the death of iconic Nigerian comedian, dramatist and filmmaker, Moses Adejumo, popularly known as Baba Sala, the Best Of Nollywood Awards, BON has renamed its comedy category after the late legend.
A statement by the Head of the Best of Nollywood Jury, Niran Adedokun explained that the award will “henceforth be known as the Moses Adejumo Comedy of the Year Award in recognition the contributions that the late veteran artiste made to the development of comedy in Nigeria.
Adedokun , who noted that Bala Sala was a total performer whose early investments in the alongside many of his contemporaries laid the foundation for the increasingly growing entertainment industry.
“Being Nigeria’s leading homegrown and home focused movie awards, the Best of Nollywood Awards honours the memory of this great man and have decided to name our comedy awards after him. It is the least that we can do as a Nigerian award even though we understand that he deserves much more and hope that our government will consider immortalizing him in some way, the statement offered.
He expressed the condolences of the organisers of the award to the Adejumo family urging them to take solace in the enviable legacy of the late filmmaker who started his career in show business as a highlife musician in 1964 with a group known as the Federal Rhythm Dandies and was noted to have tutored and guided the Juju maestro, King Sunny Ade, who was his lead guitarist at the time.
