The Economic and financial crimes commission,(EFCC), has charged Nigerians to embrace the federal government’s whistle blowing policy and expose those engaged in economic and financial crimes, and earn legit money while doing so.
The EFCC made this appeal on Wednesday, when the executive chairman of the agency, Abdulrasheed Bawa, met with a few social media influencers, under the aegis of the Mofeto Miracle Church in Abuja.
This bit of information was gotten from a statement posted on the agencies official Facebook page, titled, ‘EFCC Boss Meets Leaders of Mofeto Miracle Church, Tasks Nigerians on Whistle blowing’, in which Bawa assured that the policy was still in force and closely monitored by the anti-graft agency.
He added that whistle blowers had the opportunity to make legitimate earning by exposing economic and financial crimes that lead to financial recovery, while encouraging whistle blowers to make use of the EFCC reporting app, Eagle Eye, which could be downloaded from Google Play Store or App Store, to report economic and financial crimes cases.
