One of Nigeria’s largest mobile telecommunications companies, MTN, has apologised for its service failures on Tuesday.
Millions of MTN subscribers on Tuesday experienced downtime on the network as they couldn’t not call, surf the Internet and stream videos.
The challenge, THE WITNESS, learnt was not limited to Lagos, as the downtime was experienced in other parts of the country.
But the telco in a statement posted on its Facebook page on Wednesday said services have been restored.
“Today of all days, you couldn’t count on us to keep seamlessly connected with the people, places, business, and things that matter to you.
“Words cannot express how sorry we are for the disruption we caused. The issues has been resolved and services restored,”
