Olubankole Wellington (Banky W) a Nigerian celebrity, and member of the PDP House of Representatives says for a better Nigeria, there is a need to move from protest to power.
Speaking during an interview with AriseTv monitored by The WITNESS on why he joined politics and talks about the PDP campaign, Banky W said “the truth of the matter is as long as I am relevant in artwork, activist I have always been very vocal in participating in politics. We have to start moving from protest to power to make that change”
Banky W emerged as the winner of the PDP House of Representatives and rerun primaries for the Eti-Osa federal constituency of Lagos state with a landslide vote of 24 to 5.
