There was mild drama at the Court of Appeal in Abuja, venue of the ongoing presidential election petition tribunal on Friday, as Lamidi Apapa, factional chairman of the Labour Party, walked in and took his seat.
Peter Obi, the party’s presidential candidate, is challenging the declaration of Bola Tinubu as president-elect.
Apapa, who is laying claim to the party’s chairmanship, had been booed when he appeared in court on Wednesday. But today, he returned early to court and took a seat before the arrival of Obi and other party stalwarts.
