The United Kingdom (UK) royal family has fixed May 6, 2023, for the coronation of King Charles III.
King Charles III coronation is set to take place at the late Queen Elizabeth II consort at Westminster Abbey in London, Buckingham Palace.
“The coronation of His Majesty The King will take place on Saturday 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey.
“The Ceremony will see His Majesty King Charles III crowned alongside The Queen Consort,” the British Royal Family said.
The WITNESS recalls that Britain’s longest-serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, died in September at 96, ending a long reign of about 70 years.
The queen had been dogged by health challenges since last October that left her struggling to walk and stand.
