Musa-Lawal Ozigi, the Secretary-General of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), was among those killed by terrorists who attacked Abuja-Kaduna train on Monday night.
About 10 people are reported to have died in the attack, including a Kaduna based medical doctor, Chinelo Megafu.
A source who confirmed Ozigi’s death, said he was killed by the bandits during the attack.”
Meanwhile, several people who sustained gunshot injuries are currently receiving treatment, including former deputy governor of Zamfara State, Malam Ibrahim Wakkala.
Wakkala was shot in the leg and was being hospitalised.
According to sources, 15 patients were brought to St. Gerald’s Catholic Hospital in Kaduna, two of whom have been confirmed dead, including Chinelo Megafu, who is a staff member of the hospital.
