Titan Trust Bank Limited (TTB), one of the fastest growing financial service providers in Nigeria, has adjusted its opening days and hours to enable customers deposit their existing Naira notes pending the circulation of new ones in December 2022.
Recall that the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, had announced the redesign of Naira notes, stating that the new notes would come into circulation on December 15, 2022.
As a result, TTB encourages its customers to deposit the current Naira notes (in their custody) in the bank before the CBN deadline of 31st January 2023.
In a message to its customers, TTB said, “We are adjusting our branch opening days and hours for your convenience. We will open every Saturday (cash deposit only) from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
“Start depositing your existing Naira notes into your account in any TTB branch closest to you. Note, if you don’t have an account with us presently, you can open an account upon the presentation of your identification documents and BVN. The account opening in TTB is done seamlessly. You can open through our online channels or visit any of our branches to open account.
“Zero charges will apply for all cash deposits and your account will be credited immediately the cash is processed. Have your debit card handy for payments on POS terminals.”
“Remember, present notes can still be used for the purchase of goods and services until the cut-off date in January 2023.”
TTB was established to take advantage of the identified gaps in the banking sector and address the unmet needs of the retail mass market, SMEs and corporate.
