Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Nigeria’s president-elect, has congratulated Prof. Anthony Adegbulugbe on his 68th birthday anniversary.
Tinubu in a statement by his media assistant, Tunde Rahman, noted the many academic and professional accomplishments of Prof. Adegbulugbe in the fields of electrical engineering, climate change and entrepreneurship and praised him for his contributions to national development and knowledge globally.
The President-elect and Prof. Adegbulugbe were both awardees at the seventh Convocation Ceremony of the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti in 2019 where they bagged Honourary Doctorate Degrees alongside Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Mohammed Sa’ad Abubakar III, and the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe.
“I rejoice with Professor Anthony Adegbulugbe on this special occasion of his 68th birthday. It is gratifying that Professor Adegbulugbe reached this age with great achievements under his belt and he can look back with thanksgiving to God for a life of purpose and great contribution to human progress nationally and globally,” he said.
“In his chosen field of academic pursuit, Professor Adegbulugbe is acknowledged as a leading light. He is also a serial entrepreneur and Energy expert. His over four decades experience in the academia, business and government will remain huge inspiration for many young people for years to come.
