Armed robbers invaded residence of Raheem Sterling on Saturday while his wife and young children were in the house.
The robbers took the advantage of Raheem’s presence in England squad in Qatar 2022.
Speaking on the incident, England coach Garry Southgate said, “Sterling is flying back to England. He needs time with his family to deal with it and I don’t want to put him under any pressure to deal with it.
“Will Sterling return? I don’t know. The priority for him at the moment is to be with his family”.
The Chelsea’s forward will decide on when to return to England to be with his family and be mentally stable to continue his England’s World Cup progression to the Quarter finals at the expense of Senegal.
