Hon. Wole Oke, a member of the House of Representatives representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in Osun State, has dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Oke, who is the chairman, House Committee on Foreign Affairs, announced his resignation through a letter dated 16th of April, 2025 and addressed to the party chairman in Ward 7, Obokun Local Government of Osun State.
In his letter, Oke who was silent on the reason for his resignation, noted that his decision was sequel to consultation and engagement with political associates.
The resignation letter reads: “I wish to formally notify you that I am resigning my Membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with immediate effect.
“This was concluded after consultation and engagement with my political
associates, family and friends.
“It is my wish that you accept my resignation in good faith,” Oke said.
