Saudi Arabian authorities have announced that more than 1.1 million pilgrims have arrived in the Kingdom to participate in the 2025 Hajj exercise.

The update was provided by the General Directorate of Passports on Tuesday.

“A total of 1,102,469 pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia from various countries through air, land, and sea entry points as of the end of Monday, May 26,” the directorate revealed.

Breaking down the figures, the directorate reported that 1,044,341 pilgrims entered through airports, 53,850 via land border crossings, and 4,278 arrived through sea ports.

The directorate reiterated its commitment to streamlining entry processes by deploying advanced technologies at all international entry points, supported by highly trained, multilingual personnel.

“Saudi Arabia has completed elaborate preparations and flawless arrangements for a hassle-free Hajj, featuring seamless pilgrim experience and digital integration,” the agency added.

According to the Saudi Gazette, authorities reaffirmed their dedication to utilizing all available resources to serve pilgrims within a comprehensive and integrated system.

“These efforts reflect the directives of the wise leadership and align with Saudi Vision 2030’s goal of facilitating Hajj rituals and improving service quality, enabling pilgrims to perform their religious duties with ease and comfort,” the report stated.
