Top leaders of the ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) including the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, met in Delta State, south-south Nigeria over the weekend.
The Witness reports that the APC and PDP leaders meet in Delta at the Thanksgiving Mass in honour of Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege on Sunday, February 23.
Those present at the thanksgiving ceremony include the President of the Nigerian Senate, Ahmed Lawan, Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and other State Governors and leaders of the APC and PDP.
The Thanksgiving Mass took place at the Redeemer Catholic Church, Effurun, Delta State, with the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole exchanging pleasantries with Governor Wike. Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, southeast Nigeria, was also in attendance.
