Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has come under fire after joining the ongoing #LabourChallenge on Twitter.
#LabourChallenge started on Twitter after Tinubu said at the APC governorship rally in Osun that his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi and his supporters will labour till they die.
The statement, however, did not go down well with many Nigerians, especially the youths.
Supporters of Obi started the trend on Twitter to showcase their skills and Tinubu hooped in.
In a tweet on Friday, Tinubu posted a picture of himself with some youths, lauding them for being hardworking, and then added “#labourchallenge” to the tweet.
“Working hard to secure our future, one for all Nigerians, for our families and our great nation. Hard work is Nigerian. Proud to be working hard with Nigerians by my side. #labourchallenge #BAT23,” he wrote.

His tweet drew a slew of reactions with many bashing him for joining the challenge after insulting labourers.

Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu, there's dignity in Labour, it's only a man whose source of wealth is questionable that goes round saying, those whose work are legitimate will Labour in vain
