Mudashiru Obasa, speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, has been impeached by the members of the House.
Obasa was subsequently replaced by his deputy, Hon. Lasbat Meranda, who represents Apapa Constituency 1.
Obasa who is representing Agege State Constituency 1 in the house was removed from his position over allegations of gross misconduct and abuse of office.
