The Ogun State Police Command has arraigned Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable, before the the Isabo High Court in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
This comes after Portable voluntarily surrendered to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department in Yaba on Wednesday, following a warrant for his arrest issued by the Ogun State Police Command.
The singer is accused of assaulting officials from the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA), who were trying to seal his bar for operating without the necessary permits and insufficient air space.
The officials sustained injuries, and while nine of Portable’s associates were arrested, the singer evaded capture until his recent surrender.
