Two governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State and Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, have sought to be joined in the case before the Supreme Court on the Naira swap policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The duo made an appearance at the resumed hearing of the case by the Supreme Court on Wednesday.
Diri and Obaseki are seeking to be joined as Respondents in the case brought by the Kaduna, Kogi and Zamfara States Governments. Other states, namely Niger, Kano, Ondo, Ekiti, had also applied to be joined in the suit against the CBN and the Federal Government.
The Supreme Court of Nigeria however adjourned the case till Wednesday, February 22 for hearing of the consolidated suits by 10 states.
