Rivers State Governor, Siminialayi Fubara, has extended an invitation to the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Amaewhule, along with other lawmakers, for an important meeting at the Government House in Port Harcourt.
This invitation, issued from the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, is the first time Fubara has formally recognized Amaewhule in his capacity as Speaker of the Assembly.
Dated March 7, the invitation refers to a letter from the governor on March 5, acknowledging the Supreme Court’s judgment.
