Prayer Pemu, the Special Assistant on Entertainment to Delta State governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, is said to be under investigation by the International Criminal Police Organization, INTERPOL, for alleged fraudulent activities, The Witness report.
In a letter of invitation to the Delta governor’s aide, with file number -CR: 3000/X/ICPO/ADM/L/S/VCP/VOL.44/441, dated 29th January, 2025 and signed by DCP Sunday Oke, a Deputy Commissioner of Police INTERPOL, for the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Force Criminal Investigation Department Annex, FCID, Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos, the Bureau said it is “investigating a case of conspiracy, criminal breach of trust and stealing in which his name featured prominently.”
The Police further directed the “Prayer Pemu to “interview the Commissioner of Police, INTERPOL Section on Monday 3rd February, 2025 by 1000hrs, through O/C VCP Section”.
“The invitation is a fact finding one designed to assist in the ongoing investigation,” the letter read.

The Witness gathered that trouble started after Pemu fell out with one of his friends named Anthony who is also an accomplice in the case over a alleged N100 million fraudulent deal in the U.S.
