The federal government has purchased six more attack helicopters to boost the fight against insecurity.
The helicopters were bought from Turkey.
Mr Temel Kotil, chief executive officer of TUSAS, a Turkish aircraft manufacturer, made the announcement of the sale six of the T-129 attack helicopters, to Nigeria.
The company had earlier made a deal with the federal government over the supply of the helicopters.
