Abubakar Abdusalam, father of ths murdered 5-year-old Hanifa, has expressed satisfaction that the mastermind of the crime, Abdulmalik Tanko and his accomplice, Hashimu Ishyaku, got a death sentence.
Justice Usman Na’abba of the Kano State High Court had on Thursday, sentenced Tanko and his accomplice, Ishyaku to death by hanging.
Reacting, Abdulsalam said, “I’m happy today that Hanifa, my daughter, has gotten justice.
“We appreciate everyone’s effort and that justice has been well served.”
