Gunmen in the early hours of Monday, set ablaze the office building of Idemili North local government, a magistrate court and the office of Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC), all in Ogidi, Anambra State.
The incident happened on Sunday night, according to a twitter user, IK Umeh, who shared images of damaged cares and office structures.

The attack comes a day after Charles Soludo, governor of Anambra State, visited Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Abuja to seek solutions to the crisis.
Gunmen suspected to be sympathetic to the separatist agitation in the southeast, have continued to attack government facilities in the region, particularly in Anambra and Imo states.
Soludo had said the IPOB leader expressed sadness over the attacks.
The Anambra State police command has confirmed the incident
