Justice Christopher, a former Super Eagles midfielder, has died, aged 40.
Christopher died in the early hours of Wednesday in a hotel in Jos, Plateau State.
He made 11 appearances for the Super Eagles between 2001 and 2002 and was part of the Nigerian team at the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea/Japan.
Andrew Randa, a journalist, in a tweet broke the new of Christopher’s demise on Wednesday.
He tweeted, “Former @NGSuperEagles midfielder Justice Christopher passed away early this morning at his hotel in Jos.”
The cause of Christopher’s death was not disclosed.
Christopher spent a significant part of his playing career at Nasarawa United and retired in 2012.
