The Kebbi State command of the Nigeria Customs Service, has impounded a 2021 Toyota Hilux vehicle smuggled into the country through the land border.
The Customs Area Comptroller, Joseph Attah, while addressing journalists, reminded the public that the Federal Government’s policy on restriction of vehicle importation to seaports was still on.
Attah, while displaying the Toyota Hilux, also paraded other items seized by the command.
The assorted items seized in the last two weeks with a duty paid value of N45,030,111, included 98 bags of fertiliser, 4,125 litres of PMS, 50 kegs of vegetable oil and 17 bales of second-hand clothes.
