The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has announced plans to review certain service fees starting August 1.

In a statement issued on Tuesday and signed by the commission’s management, CAC said the planned review is part of its continued commitment to improving service quality and delivery.

“The Commission wishes to inform the General Public, Esteemed Customers, and all Stakeholders that in the continued efforts to improve its service quality and delivery, it has become necessary to review certain service fees effective the 1st day of August, 2025,” the statement reads.

“This decision follows the careful consideration of prevailing economic realities, rising operational costs as well as engagement of critical Stakeholders ahead of implementation.”

“The review of fees is crucial to ensuring that the Commission continues to provide prompt, efficient, and technology-driven services that meet the expectations of its Stakeholders for the benefit of the Nigerian Economy.”

The commission assured the public that the revised charges would be modest, competitive, and in line with its goal of enhancing service delivery through digital transformation.

CAC also noted that the fee adjustment is intended to uphold the credibility of the Nigerian Corporate Registry.

The commission reiterated its commitment to transparency, accountability, and customer satisfaction, while working to establish a more robust and responsive regulatory framework.

In April, CAC had directed companies, limited liability partnerships, and individuals operating under unregistered business names to complete registration within a six-week period.
