The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has announced a rescheduling of its last meeting of its Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) for the year, initially billed to hold on November 19 and 20, 2018.
A statement by Isaac Okorafor, director, Corporate Communications at the CBN said the shift followed the declaration of Tuesday, November 20, 2018, as a public holiday by the Federal Government.
While expressing regrets for any inconvenience the change may have caused the CBN’s stakeholders and the general public, he said the meeting will now hold on Wednesday and Thursday, November 21 and 22, 2018.
